Meta launches Muse Wonder with API access and Muse Wonder Full through subscriptions
Meta launched Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on October 12, 2026, with developer access available that day. Wonder is available through Meta Model API and Muse Code; Full requires a Power Usage or Maximum Usage Muse Code subscription and is unavailable through the API. Meta advertises a 1 million-token context window for both models and promotes them for coding across large repositories and running agents for hours. Wonder API pricing is $4 per million input tokens, $0.20 per million cached input tokens and $20 per million output tokens; Power Usage costs $50 per month and Maximum Usage costs $200 per month. Axios independently reported the launch and access split.
Why it matters
Developers building API integrations can use Wonder, but evaluating Full requires a qualifying Muse Code plan; Wonder’s maximum reasoning setting does not switch models. Teams handling private code should review data settings: Meta says Muse Code subscriptions default to Contributor mode, which permits training use and can be disabled. The research did not examine the evaluations behind Meta’s performance claims or include hands-on testing, so teams should measure task completion, latency and total cost on representative workloads before migrating.
